Sense8 Canceled By Netflix After 2 Seasons
I'm not surprised. Show was likely expensive as fukk and probably alienated a big chunk of audiences by trying to force way too many gay sex scenes and orgies with *all* the characters participating.. even the ones that were supposed to be straight doing questionable things
A few months ago I tried watchin season 2, the premier ep iirc, but i shut it off 20-30mins in. They were just doin too much, and it took away from the main story that wasn't a bad overall plot.
“After 23 episodes, 16 cities and 13 countries, the story of the Sense8 cluster is coming to an end,” Cindy Holland, Neflix’s vice president of original content, said in a statement. “It is everything we and the fans dreamed it would be: bold, emotional, stunning, kick ass, and outright unforgettable. Never has there been a more truly global show with an equally diverse and international cast and crew, which is only mirrored by the connected community of deeply passionate fans all around the world. We thank Lana, Lilly, Joe and Grant [Hill] for their vision, and the entire cast and crew for their craftsmanship and commitment.”
