You peep the random gay black character that was just thrown in there for no reason? I got 2 eps left and pretty sure she has zero skin in the plot line to the end, but Netflix is flagrant with this shyt now.

Weekly releases get dropped like a muafukka.
Lemme binge in peace
Weekly releases extend subscriber engagement. Stranger Things goes from being talked about for a week or 2 to months building hype as a season goes on and drawing more attention. When people binge they consume it fast then go about their lives.

It would also mean they'd have to step back on canceling shows so quick and let them build an audience over time though. Maybe even over multiple seasons.
