point zion is never gonna be anything more than a situational look because zion can't shoot.

lakers have had to adjust nothing because the pels have a functionally broken roster without a point guard. like all they can do is get hot and nail every rebound - but even then they have zero way to control the pace against a team locked in for the playoffs

They don't even have movement in their offense. It's give the ball to one of their three guys and hope they figure it out. A point guard won't be the reason guys cut off ball or Trey Murphy is running around screens like Klay Thompson.

When do you see any Pels' player get a mismatch on offense? Something that simple and basic doesn't happen for them. That's coaching.

They've had this group for three years with Willie and it still looks like they all just started playing together.

They also need higher IQ across the board offensively.

Their role players shooting wild 25 foot 3s off of the first pass (Murphy, CJ)... is wild. And dumb.

But CJ was gong 8 for 10 with that ish a week ago... which was the worst thing that could've happened for them.
