The game is the best basketball sim to this date, but people online play like they're five years old. 90% of people online in general do not play sim,so we tend to bash the game when it's really the users. My Career is fun and if you like to play offline then this is for you.

So its basically the same game as last year. that defensive sliding shyt is not user error though. i despise playing the computer unless its mycareer.

You CAN play on ball this year, but with kids using turbo up and down the court it's kind of hard. I played a cheeser and he spam with john wall, because he has the fastest speed in the game, so i had to play off ball to cut him off. Game is nothing like last year, but the community is. 2K has forced you to play sim, but of course trash ass people find a way to still play like bums. Just try to play private matches most people on here will play you.

pro-am and park is goat if you have a team. FYI make sure you have a friend that's a big man, and you'll win at least 85% of your games. Sad thing is park has no cheese, but regular online play does

Breh its the game also. Its only a matter of tuning but the mechanics of this game right now is fukking terrible.
Its definitely a combination of the two, I swear A.I. loves to commit flagrant and fouls in the paint that I have no control over it, its unbelievable. I have never seen the A.I. jump so much on pump fakes before in 2k EVER, I literally lose games to cheesers because the A.I. can't stay disciplined. Post gm overall is not up to par with me and should be re-hauled completely, thats a step 2k should most def look into and not put all their focus into myteam etc
Yea thats pretty crazy. Fouls in general are out of wack. A.I defense around the rim is way too aggressive. The one time they rotate over is when I am guarding a low post player and my A.I. teammate will just fly over and foul for absolutely no reason. Heres some other issues
1) Blocking. Its out of control. I don't mind beast like Davis, Drummond, Gobbert, etc. Keving Love should not be swatting shots. Aaron Affalo should not be swatting shots. I understand they want to stop cheesers but its ridiculous.
2) I should be rewarded for running a play that with a high percentage shooter. Its so aggravating when you swing the ball around nicely, guys are cutting and coming off good screen, you take a good chunk of time off the play clock, your man is wide open, and he clanks it. That shyt is in direct response to the whiners complaining about the high FG% in years past.
3) Good finishers around the rim should do that, finish around the rim. Guys like Rose shouldn't be bricking around the rim just because a guy is around the paint. If he challenges fine. But too many times I will completely miss bunnies just because a guy was there. Not because he contested. Hes just there. He could have his back turned and be completely out of position/late on rotation. Still a miss. Whats the purpose of these badges again
Theres more but I've been ranting enough, They completely killed the offensive game for defensive because the nerds on OS demanded it. They need to find a balance and not kill one side for the other
