I actually didnt mind the shooting in 2k14. Sometimes in real life bad release shots go in. Hell sometimes you wanna release early in order to avoid a block. Not mad though, as the shooting was pretty inconsistent, missing those wide open threes with perfect timing hurt my soul.:sadcam:

So are they gonna fix the passing and allow us to save rosters to the HDD this year? Its bullshyt I can't play with the rookies using 2k share downloaded rosters from operation sports on PS4.

That depends on how good you are and what position you play. If you're PG like the rest of the world then only like 15/20 or so games because if you're good enough all you need is to upgrade your jumper and more minutes in order to put up numbers and wins. Big men can start off as double double machines depending on what type of player you make them, even though rebounding sucks overall in 2k. SF takes the most games to really become good, it'll take like over half a season as a swingman to really make them as good as you want them to be.

If you consider "good" to be over a 90 overall then just know it'll take more than one season (even if you play all 82 games + playoffs) to make your player that good, but you won't need all that.

So if I want to create a 6'10 SF who can hit mid range shots; pass the ball, and defend it'll take me about 1.5 seasons? :leon:

Zigzag cheese is gone. We specifically put in other measures to counter it.

:lawd:

The shot meter takes everything into account. Think of it this way. Take the player's real FG% from any given situation: factoring in shot defense, his range, hot/cold zones, fatigue, ratings, etc. and turn that into a target. The bigger the value, the larger the target. Now, it's your job to hit that target. So Russ' elbow jumper is much easier to time than Beal's, and vice versa at the 3pt line.

:wow: Breh, I can't wait for this shyt to drop. Oct. 7 can't come here soon enough. :damn:

Probably not. Doesn't take long to upgrade your mid, defense requires maybe 20 or so games to upgrade how you might want depending on your caps and passing is a basketball/2k IQ thing (but you will turn the ball over a lot thanks to 2k being full of shyt). You'll probably have the blueprint for the player you want by midway through the season, but he won't be 100% there yet.

If that's what you want to do then you should make him a point forward with PnR Maestro, Lockdown Defender/Active Hands/Pickpocket and Shot Creator. It'll take pretty much 1.5 seasons to get him to where you might want him though.

I think almost everybody is fed up with 2k bullshyt...but Live just refuses to step up so we're stuck.

In other news...they got Udonis Haslem's struggle beard perfectly :mjlol:

The players were garbage though. Here's a pro tip. If you're closing out, or just defending in the perimeter, you can use the right stick to put your defenders hand up to contest the shot instead of randomly jumping like a dumb ass.

As for what I saw.... I couldn't see shyt. These dudes playing played the ugliest brand of 2k ever. No pick and roll, no quality ball movement just either run to the basket and toss up lay ups or shoot threes.
That's how most nikkas play tho

shyt is sad too. I'm out here thrashing nikkas with the Bobcats just playing good ball. The only time I get beat is because someone matches me with Sim ball shout out to @DPresidential. You shut down a cheesers only move, they end up rage quitting.
