Player models look great and I like how the players are moving. Those passes are still too slow and the defenders are closing in to fast on the 3pt line. I'll reserve any addtl judgment until I see some folks who know how to play

i'm done with 2k and that horrific passing. its been horrible since 2k11. 2k10 was the last year they had decent passing speed. i mean how do you keep putting a game out with that horrific passing speed? its not hard to tweek. they already have the basketball physics. they have a speed attached to it. just up the speed. you can even make it so the harder we press on the pass button the faster the pass will be thrown(bullet pass). pressure sensitive.

they just dont do it because to them its not a big deal. which proves like some have said. these geek boys dont play ball. and they must not watch much of it. or if they do, then they just dont care or 2k cant do it. which is a crying shame if thats the case.

THEE most important thing is gameplay with any game. especially a sports game. if the players dont move properly, if the ball isnt moving properly. if cpu AI is way off, if the user's responsiveness via controller usage is off. then i dont care how great your servers are. your game will suck. i dont care how often you update the game with new shoes and accessories. your game will look cute but suck. imagine a chick with a pretty face but she's anorexic thin. not cute thin. no butt, not chest, nothing. flatboard all around. all face and nothing else. body looking like a 9 year old boy. thats what happens when your game looks good and you have good accessories(servers, modes). but the gameplay is awful. Fix the gameplay and i can forgive a loss in modes, i can somewhat forgive server issues(not 2k cause they have had that issue since online started. shame on them for not spending the $$$ to fix it.

dont really care I just hope FS1 and NBCsports can win the rights to show some NBA games with the upcoming TV contract negotiations b/c ESPN been with its NBA coverage the past few years.


both NBAtv and TNT got better nba shows than ESPN.

There's a load of people on Operation Sports that they could use for this too, but they'd rather use trash ass YouTubers that only play MyPlayer and MyTeam to sell the game. They can't even get Chris Smoove anymore because he's above 2k's gimmic now.

I'm interested if they brought back individual coaching changes instead of this points of emphasis bullshyt... I don't want to play an entire team tight and open up driving lanes or sag off the entire team and open 3 pointers. Give me the option to choose how to play each player individually.

They thought Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony should be defended the same way

seriously they need fans who really been playing these games to test man...shyt just grab the nikkas i ran wit in the coli 2k13 league and we can give you a whole list of whats wrong wit these games

and like someone else said they really need to add back the ability for individual coaching settings...why the fukk would i wanna leave stephen curry open for 3 2k? if your team had a post presence and shooters you were damn near unstoppable because of the way the defense settings were made

2k14 on next gen was rushed. Thats why they used some generic ass filter for the game menus

Kind of but they took the coaching options out in game so I can't adjust those without using points of emphasis.

I definitely agree with the pressure sensitive passing, the harder u press the button the faster the pass should go. Just looking at that close out speed on the 3 makes me worried that we will still have to worry about those fags online sitting in 1-3-1 zone jumping the passing lanes.

Idk why the 1-3-1 zone is even in the game. NBA teams rarely use it if at all. If anything they should take it and and replace it with the box and 1.

your right, but still the little things 2k always gets wrong. Still though the gameplay on 2k14 is damn near flawless imo, only thing that pisses me off is that players will make every single fukking 3 if left wide open

i heard there was a setting to change it so that they shoot on how their real life FG% is but i never found that setting. Is it possible in next gen 2k14?

I love and hate this yearly Gamescon videos. The game is always showcased by bums that have no idea how to play basketball games. It's also sad we see the gameplay videos from this event before 2K release a fukking thing. I hate 2k's marketing with a passion breh. If I'm 2K, I'm releasing early build videos for the world to see and asking the community on areas that need improvement. They heavy on the OS forums, AFTER the actual game release. And like someone mentioned before, they keep bringing these Youtube Myplayer guys instead of people that exploit the game year after year. You not going to find many exploits by players that play sim basketball.

Yea you used to be able to say ok im playing the Heat. Let me make sure when Lebron drives we collapse on him, or that every time he touches the ball, double team and deny the passing lanes. When ray allen comes in, we always play him tight on the perimeter.
