i've played 2k ALOT in the past 4-5 years. i know about a lot of these tricks, but i dont employ them myself. what i find funny is how nikkas be feelin themselves playing like this, then acting like they are "the best" or "beasts" shyt is mad corny. offensively, shyt is wack too. dudes be feeling themselves in lgs averaging 35pts wit one nikka in 6 min quarters. if the offense wasnt so over powered in this game, less nikkas would resort to these defensive cheese tactics.

typically when I play other people, I play offline, since I find the online experience in 2k14 at best.

however, when I do play other people, I just play regular man to man defense. I don't do all this defensive strategizing. I just try to stay in front of my man and rotate as necessary. also, ain't with all that cheesy play either. if I'm playing with the bulls, I don't have drose shooting everytime or driving the paint to dunk on the squad. I'd rather run the offense like a real team and take the best shot when it becomes available.

This has not been possible in years, 2k's paint defense has been great since 2k11. They fukked up with 13 and 14 with the 3pt%, nikkas make too many 3's. How the fukk do you go from allowing cheezing in the paint to eliminating that problem, but making the cheeze come from the perimeter????? If not for that bullshyt 2k could have been easily the most balanced/sim sports game ever for 13 and 14.

Everything on 2k14 is timing.. with sooooo many moves to choose from with any player I say only 3 out of 10 cheesers would beat me and thas my word

If you distribute the ball well/play D/ maintain your pace.. you win! at the end of the game in the team stats I always have atleast like 2 extra min of ball possession, more steals/blocks more bench points. Team ball is the way to go!

I never got why people obsessed about ratings pre-release anyway.
You see something you don't like, tweak it.
Online play is about exploits regardless if you're matched up against a guy who plays that way.
