That nikka 9th was so one dimensional back then it’s ridiculous. nikka couldn’t tailor beats to a vibe for shyt. U had to come into his world. This is why his best shyt is when rappers rap to his shyt from scratch. Best remix he ever did was this. Top 5 song involving 9th that wasn’t Little Brother right here.

Let’s just call it what it is. There is a clear media bias that has been going against Nas for 2 decades. It’s pretty obvious at this point. It’s done to try to dim the greatness of Nas in some way to try to elevate others. There isn’t anything else that they can point to, so rehashing the same narrative for 20 years is all they have at this point. Instead of highlighting all the great things Nas has done “ which will elevate him even more to the masses” let’s push the one narrative to downplay some of his greatness. Nas has fought through every single narrative against him and once this Premo album drops and it’s dope, it will further cement his status as the greatest of all time.
And they blamed him for beats he wasn't a part of. Wasn't he on Vlad or some shyt who kept calling him out and asked him to name the bad production to his face, then Vlad or whoever named an album (think it was HHID or Untitled) and Salaam was like "I made one beat for that album
