So then what are your expectations? Because Nas last few tracks he did with Primo (Define my Name, Beat Breaks) were just average.

They def were not on the level of the ones I mentioned.

Wave Gods was decent but that was produced by Hit Boy, Primo only did the scratches I think.

My expectations are Magic 1 level or slightly below which is still a damn good album. Nas isn't 96 Esco Preemo isn't the mid 90's level anymore. Still doesn't mean they can't make good music

I mean I agree im not expecting an all time classic but I think certain ppl's expectations are through the roof, thinking every track is going to be a "Nas is Like" type song.

If it's on the same level as Magic 1 or KD3 i can get on board.

I expect the NaS & premo Album to be good not great. I expect the mob deep album to be great. Everything else will be cool. Ghostface will either over deliver or not. I’m just going to keep my expectations down.

Happy Birthday to Illmatic. The World is Yours will always be my favorite track off this album and one of my favorite tracks of all time. It lead to my favorite Jay-Z song with Dead Presidents.
