You're retarded, nikka thinks Gucci Mane a fukking mixtape rapper without a single Platinum album has more money than Nas. :laff:

Nikka thinks Gucci Mane makes more money than a rapper who sells out arenas worldwide, that's currently on a world tour for a 20 year old album. Are you dumb nikka. :mjlol:

Life is not so good for Nas. Just because he's a rapper with a recent No.1 album doesn't mean he's immune to the current recession crippling America.

Nasty Nas is the latest victim of the banks after being forced to foreclose on his Atlanta-area home. The rapper purchased the 3,500sq. ft home in 2004 for $585,000 but was unable to foot theTMZ, Nas owed the bank $507,000 in back payments before it repossessed the home. The house -- located in the Eagle's Landing subdivision south of Atlanta and complete with a pool, gym and game room -- was put up for auction this week and purchased for only $348,500. (Given the whopping $236,500 difference in resale price, the rapper most likely made out of the situation losing less money than if he had put it on the market after the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis.)

A History of Hip-Hop Going Broke: The 20 Rappers, Producers, and Label Heads Who Hit Rock Bottom

Nas
When did they go broke?
Nas' money woes date back to at least 2009, following a spitefully personal divorce from Kelis. The courts ruled that he pay his ex-wife $25,000 per month in spousal/child support. Somehow this did not quell his already substantial financial pains, which included a $6 million (not a typo) tax lien.

Did they recover?
The good news: Life Is Good was the first Nas album since God's Son to make us do the scrounge face. The bad news: his Atlanta-area house was foreclosed in October. All proceeds from his aforementioned, Lauryn Hill-abetted tour are said to have gone towards paying the Georgia Department of Revenue. This means he cannot afford any more hats like the one from the "Hate Me Now" video.

yea the truth hurt bytch

dont run now
you aren't worth a response, you think Gucci Mane has more money than Nas. Them articles prove nothing, Nas owed $6 million in taxes he's not the first rapper to have tax problems. He's got that out the way. Has Gucci Mane even accumulated $6 million dollars throughout his career?

You could tell which one has more money, one wears real chains the other one wears fake ones. :mjlol:

Just listened to the original "In Between Us." So dope. Then he sent Scarface an equally insane verse. The retail version fits the song better, though.

The Ryerson Students’ Union (RSU) announced on Friday that American rapper, Nas, will be headlining this year’s Parade and Picnic on Sept. 5. Jillionaire, from the electronic music project, Major Lazer, along with Canadian Juno award winning singer/songwriter, Anjulie, are also scheduled to perform during the week of welcome.

For the past two years, the Parade and Picnic concert has been held at the Mattamy Athletic Centre, but the RSU also announced that this year’s show will be performed at the Toronto Island. The last Ryerson frosh concert hosted on the island was back in 2011.

Nas has been touring across North America, Asia and Europe since January. His upcoming North American tour, Time is Illmatic, kicks off on Oct. 2 in New York and stops in Toronto on Oct. 8.

This year will mark the 54th annual Parade and Picnic concert held by the RSU.

That is not what it says in the article.

The article at the very least implies that he's dropping an album this Fall:

Get ready for what could be the most surprising fall release schedule in music history.

The industry has been uncommonly cagey about the precise dates for new albums from its top-line stars. At the same time, a long line of huge names have either directly stated, or vividly implied, that they’re ready to give birth to new work. Expectant parents include Adele, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, U2, Kanye West, Pink Floyd and Nas.

There's also this from the article as well:

Nas is also in an anniversary state of mind. Earlier this year, he clinked glasses for the two-decade mark of his classic debut, “Illmatic.” Nas’ new, as yet-untitled, album will be his last for Def Jam, and he’d like it to appear in this, his special year.

I read the article, I see speculation, nothing that confirms he's on schedule to release an album this year.
