So then what are y'all saying in here? That you got no expectations for an album the fanbase has been waiting like 20+ years for?
Are we not supposed to have expectations for our artists?

They can just drop a piece of wack dog shyt and y'all would be ok with it?

Cmon, let's do better.

King's Disease won a Grammy, and KD 2 was nominated for Best Rap Album also.

Should we not expect a Grammy level performance for this album?

I think Primo saw what Nas did with Hit-Boy and what the Common and Pete album sounded like so I think he feels the pressure a little bit.

They both gotta hit on this album or they will BOTH never live the criticism down.

It will be never ending fans saying "We waited 20 years for this and the shyt was wack".......or "Primo lost it" or "the album is average but the KD and Magic series is better......etc etc......

Nas and Primo would never live it down if the album sucks.
lol.. thats not true. If anything it will be they waited 20+ years too long.. yada yada yada

but if Nas can survive the Nasir album, Im sure he could survive a chink in the armor from a mishap on this album

Yea but the Nasir album wasn't nearly as anticipated as this album. Plus, that album was basically an EP.

I think the fans would say the collab album with Primo is the album they have been waiting the longest for.

But youre right, if it's wack.....people will be saying "it's 20 years too late", they should did it back in 2006, etc.......

The Nasir album was hella anticipated. Obama himself asked Kanye to make that album with Nas.

But the overall point is not to rush. I feel like Nas is in top form after the albums with Hit and was ready and willing to put an album out last year but Premo wants it to be as perfect (from HIS side) as possible. Nas won’t disappoint with the rhymes, its all on Premo now to get into his bag like he did with the last Gangstar album.

It's Nas so even if it's great the usual crowd gonna be saying that or saying he should have done it with Alchemist, Large Pro or Pete Rock.

Lol, never live the criticism down? His career has been “etched in stone for years” by his own admission. If for whatever reason it doesnt meet certain fans expectations, the criticism will come and go like the wind.

None of this would be accepted because it's not "Nas Is Like" "Memory Lane":snoop:

Anyone with any kinda sense would be more than happy with any joints of those calibre on a Premo & Nas album. They are delusional and stuck in a time loop if they think stuff like that isn't good enough.
