If it comes out on the 21st, regardless of whether the Drake album comes out as rumored or not....surely we agree that a certain chick shouldn't be lecturing real fans about streaming numbers again for another surprise release with limited-to-no promo. I don't want to hear a peep.

The fact y’all think Nas don’t care about his album sells is 😂!

As much time some of y’all spend on this site running the numbers up day after day about which producer he should work with one would think y’all would spend the same amount of time streaming his albums the week of and weeks after the drop.

Nas shouldn’t have to depend on popular features or interviews for streams.

After this hip hop 50 yr of events. He will then concentrate on other things.

Nas puts his love, time and money into these projects. Why wouldn’t he want to see the best results from it?

Do y’all think Nas don’t care about streaming numbers? He is aware of the streaming number game but he still cares about the end results of his projects.
Shout to the real ones like us, it's a shortage, it seems

I'm underground and overground and it's never been seen

Real counts on my streams

Got real people tappin' in so that's what that means, indeed

Nas Ghetto Reporter 2022

I'm sure he cares but I don't think he's dejected or depressed like the way she portrays it. I think he understands he's icon solidified with nothing left to prove. If he was truly dejected why release so many projects in this short time period while doing little to no promo? We stream go to shows buy merch here your gripe or hers isn't with us. We are only a small segment you have to get the big artist on these albums to run those #'s up

She never said he was depressed but he damn sure ain’t pleased with it. Why is that so hard to comprehend? Y’all talk about her but yet take things personal as well. if you do your part then great. But don’t act like what she is saying don’t have validation bc it does. One would think the real ones would be bigger the way this forum carries on for days about nothing. The real
ones spend more days discussing producers he should work with on an album not released yet than streaming his albums already released on streaming platforms.

By the way Nas releases bc he does has obligations to his own label/business. Why would he spend money on promo to produce the same results? By the way those big artists cost money as well. That’s smart business 101. But anyway I’m wasting my time here.

I've said every point you made fam about big artist costing $$$. I'm not the one saying he should get ''so & so" for a 2 million album budget. There's people here saying those artists will do it as a favor lol. I understand the music business my criticism of her is how she shyts on his core base. I think that is wrong a lot of us have been fans for over 30 years rocking with him since the beginning. Nas fans do that every thread you been here long enough to understand :pachaha:

20-30k is about what you can expect from core Nas fans. So if this is going to be another project that comes like a thief in the night with no promo and no features I don't think anyone should expect more than that and the street team shouldn't criticize the fans. IMO there is no better way to maximize the return on his investment from these projects than to bring in an A-lister or two to help put the spotlight on his work. Collaborations don't just help with sales, they are fun for listeners. Think of all the collabs that could have happened in the past that didn't. He missed out on the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill recording sessions, didn't get to record with Pac before he died, "should have did the remix verse on Gimme the Loot for Biggie", why not tap in to today's highly regarded guys? Don't him and Kendrick share a manager? Certain things make too much sense and I dont get the pushback to the idea.

The voice of the Nas street team is a chick that can barely string together two coherent thoughts with a couple thousand followers on twitter. Again, the voice of the Nas street team has an audience of under 3k people. Features obviously would move the needle in the sales conversation more than her bytching on twitter begging working people to make posters to promote the album or follow these intricate methods of streaming - and that's coming from someone that supports every Nas project with his wallet.
