Hovengers in the media and online been working overtime for two decades to rewrite the canon
Straight up deleted Kingdom Come, The Carters and those R. Kelly and Linkin Park joints. Trying to act like BP2 was good. Dynasty was a classic now

Main thing with Hovengers is they never hold Jay to the same standard they hold everyone else
Looking at that Twitter thread you got Hovengers claiming I Am is a trash album. The main criticisms you can apply to I Am, too many filler tracks and some of the production didn't age well, you can apply to Vol. 1-3 and Dynasty. And BP2, KC, BP3, WTT, MCHG. If I Am is "trash" then so is most of Jay's discography including albums Hovengers claim are widely accepted as classics
