This guy Coop is the worst. Dude loves the sound of his voice so much he's over here making speeches and talking over the person he's supposed to be interviewing. :what::snoop:

He asked good questions, but yeah I agree with the bolded. I actually think the other guy from the podcast (Mike) is more thoughtful than Coop and would've been a better fit for an interview like this.

Mike strikes me as smart dumb especially when he expounds on political points and Kanye. I’m 20 minutes in this interview and Coop is doing his thing. I like hearing Hits favorite beats he gave Nas on each project. Hit admitting he wasn’t familiar with Nas b-sides (Take It In Blood) and intro tracks until discovering Nas fans on SM and platforms like A2HH was telling. After KD1 the beats really fit Nas even better and that’s clearly a reason.

They’re both good brothers. Coop is more of the “go getter” thats how he landed the interview. He reached out to and formed a relationship with a woman who works directly for Nas. He curated that relationship for over a year. Coop also was the PUBLIC catalyst for helping to confront and directly refute a lot of the bogus narratives surrounding Nas and what he’s accomplished over the past two years.

I agree, Coop asked some really dope questions. But there’s like a five minute stretch of the interview where Coop is just talking to himself.

I tried to tell my son @CHICAGO this I low-key had the scoop already. Lol. Its dope he addressed it publicly tho. It's funny how Hit used my same exact argument when it comes to Jay with Ye and The Black Album too. @Cladyclad

That's why the convo pissed me off because damn near everyone on this forum saw that documentary and the creation of Lucifer, but no one would say "Kanye wrote for Jay."

Lames been trying to knock points off Nas' career sheet since 1996. Hell if there were internet forums in 1994 I'm sure somebody said "why is a two year old song on Illmatic, this is dumb" lmao. It's always something different but the common denominator is that it's shyt that nobody else gets knocked for.
