I listen to KD1 today and that album is the perfect summer album. You can play it in any setting. I feel like people try to downplay it because KD2 and Magic are so great. Kd1 and kd2 would have been a great double album

Agree, KD1 probably got the warmest most upbeat production start to finish of any Nas album and it stands out in that way. That's something that was needed summer 2020

I’ve noticed people leaving that album out when they talking about Nas killing it the last few years. It has to be included, it was the start of something special with Hit Boy.

that still doesn’t justify is being left out. But too each own. I’ve seen some people put kd1 or kd2. It depends on the mood for me personally.

Nas to me got 11 albums that range from classic to excellent. Then 4 solid albums that have bit too many average/ ok songs and 2 mediocre

Considering it’s likely KD3 will be the 12th in the top category that’s some output
