time constraints Joe:mjlol: why not play something from the album you got nominated for? What would he replace NYSOM with One Mic? When you have an extensive catalogue of classic material it can be difficult can't please everybody. Plus, the performance was fire Illmatic or not

Lil Jon episode of the podcast he admitted Bravehearts really had no business being in the studio like that :russ: but was just trying to give them something productive to do. Thanked Jon for coming through and lacing them. He did too. Quick To Back Down was :whew:

Ran LIG back for one of my young homies who never listened to the album in full. The way he was spazzin made me feel like I was listening for the first time. That’s a top tier Nas album right there.

This been back in my rotation the last few months. The second half of the deluxe, You Wouldn't Understand through Where's The Love, that alone is a borderline classic. Incredibly dope album

Nas said something interesting on the Common episode of his podcast about his writing and recording techniques currently. Basically he jots down lines and ideas hears a beat and if it fits he puts it up there while freestyling the rest. He's the Goat and can obviously get away with doing that because he's at a mastery level but then I got to wondering, what does a Nas with a pen and pad and headphones on listening to instrumentals sound like?? He's still great but I understand now why he's not as technical as he use to be or as descriptive.
