What also would have topped it is if he gave him his proper justice and said four decades, not three. 90's 2000's, 2010's, 2020's, :picard:. And he debuted really in like 90-91...another year earlier and he'd be 5 decades deep.

To be fair, Luda did say "for over 3 decades", but you right he could've said "damn near 5 decades" too :wow:

The thing with these publications is : they have different writers. So sometimes the tone of an article or the rating to a review can vary depending on who wrote it.
Maybe someone working for them would give an album three stars but if someone else reviewed it it could get more or less.

At first I thought that. But kd 1 kd 2 and magic and they are on the same bullshyt with three different writers. If the editor in chief was doing his job, he should have throw them out of the publication office like uncle Phil used to do with jazz the second he would read their paper toilet reviews

It isn't the editor or writer, it's the publication itself. They have a think group that decides the rating and then they bring in a writer to write the review.

Still, we shouldn't be giving energy to these reviews good or bad. They are going to write what they are going to write regardless how the fan base feels about it.

Praising Doja Cat for talking about pissing and bashing Nas for performing his classics is the perfect summation as to where modern popular culture is right now. :scust:

They even referred to Doja Cat's pissing speech as "refreshing". Sounds like these Pitchfork writers enjoy golden showers. :scust::scust::scust:

Pitchfork is a hipster hypebeast publication geared toward the Coachella crowd. The brand of hip hop Nas represents is the opposite of what their audience and writers are into

It’s a difference between being into something and disrespect. They are disrespectful. They actually would be better off not review or writing anything Nas related.

Agree. They're a joke and don't get the material. Like the example from the Magic review where dude didn't even understand what "I've dedicated my life, my life" referred to. I think there's extra bias due to the Kelis BS too

There is a media bias towards Nas but Nas fights through that. True goat. Like 30 mins after he left the stage the media started coming for him. It's a wild thing to witness but I'm glad he doesnt let it bother him. This dude should be smacked up.
