Ran LIG back for one of my young homies who never listened to the album in full. The way he was spazzin made me feel like I was listening for the first time. That’s a top tier Nas album right there.

Them strings in the One mic performance was crazy.

Nas has REALLY upped his live performance game since Life Is Good. I first saw him perform in 2007 during the Hip Hop Is Dead tour and he did great but seeing him again in 2013 was like a CRAZY leap in quality. Matter of fact I think a lot of credit should go to the Distant Relatives tour because even though I never went personally, watching video of those shows it seems like Nas really decided to take performing seriously.


Nas is also world class with a live band. Him and Hov both really benefit from those strings and live drums.

He really stepped it up on the DR tour. Went to like 5 or 6 shows he really no choice being on tour sharing that stage with Damian Marley. Shoutout to the flag waver homie had incredible energy throughout the shows
