Wow. So he actually explained why he couldn’t promote too crazy around Illmatic. A lot of his shyt got shut down because of Nas crew and promoters being scared of them and damn near blackballing him from parties n shyt because they said he’s all about destruction. Even Biggie said he couldn’t get into any Nas party cause it would get too crazy. Lol. VERY interesting. Plus Nas’ whole mentality back then was different. He said he felt he was in the game as a fair exchange. Not for friends so he felt like it was a fair exchange. He gives the industry the art. They give him his money and what he needed to survive. And that was that.

P says the same thing about Mobb Deep. Basically the whole project would put aside their beefs to go to their events and eventually, would fukk shyt up.

Wu-Tang same thing. I'm betting if you make it out the projects, the whole project showing up to your event like :feedme:

All 3 episodes were dope. Nas is also great in this element. Nas opening up and sharing stories is great and he seems much more comfortable being the interviewer than the interviewee. I hope he not working too hard for his company for some people:mjlol:

It was interesting hearing Nas kind of fan out in front of Cube. :mjlol:

I get what he was saying about those early Cube projects. Death Certificate made a deep impact in my life so I feel where Nas is coming from.

Cube and Scarface were the reason I got into rap and were my 1st favorite rappers when I was like 8 years old. I knew Nas would fan out a little bit lol. He's from that Ice Cube tree rebel content wise
