Is there a recording of this I ended up missing it.

Poster in another thread gave a great summary.

Edit:

I listened in.
- Anthony talked about losing his little brother and dad in an airplane crash and how that contributed to his perspective on life
- Ant was in college when he started working with Nas, he would be in the studio doing homework
- Ant used to enjoy running errands for Nas because he was 21 driving a Maybach solo in NY
-Nas knew from the jump that there was something special about Ant. He was drawn to the fact that he had the audacity/belief in his self that he could work with Nas at at such a young age
- Nas credits Ant with him deciding to take touring serious. Before Ant became his manager he had a bad reputation for cancelling shows
- Tristian Walker and Ben Horowitz did a video congratulating Nas and Ant on the Innovation Award that they received today
- The host did a good job of using lyrics from Nas’ albums to tie into actual questions that accentuate how Nas has grown as an artist/investor which allowed Nas to explain how he speaks things into existence
- They answered a few questions from attendees too

Schooling people takes forever; don't bother
How do you even get the opportunity to be Nas manager at 21:ohhh:
you guys beat me to this question...yeah how the hell do you even get to Nas? Nas isn't on social media like that and Selah's backstory is vague as hell...dude showed up from nowhere and Nas started shouting him out

https://www.thecoli.com/threads/how-do-you-become-a-manager-for-an-artist.843216/ this thread had some insight: artists are volatile creators who need business partners to set structure -- anthony acquired every grey hair that Nas doesn't have

Nas approaches tech investing like he approaches his music...he's always on that next shyt, talking about topics that rappers haven't covered on record but exist in other genres of music -- investing in stuff that are new and the general public aren't aware of...but it all boils down to starting capital...a lot of hip hop dumbs stuff down but they never relented on their set standard
