Is it really disrespectful though to say that in 2021, Royce is a better rapper than Nas? Of course he's not even in Nas's universe in terms of overall Greatness and career...but right now on just some rapping shyt I don't think it's that blasphemous, Royce is highly nasty.

Also, Royce said he feels like no one in that category can rap with him (that includes Jay-z), so Royce wasn't trying to slight Nas in any way. Lupe though been talking a little slippery.. I think he is a Nas stan, like he grew up on him and studied him, but he doesn't really feel like Nas has "it" anymore, he just doesn't wanna come out and say it because he doesn't wanna disrespect him. Thats the vibe I get from him when he speaks on Nas.

Can Royce shut the fukk up already? I didn't say anything when he was defending Eminem because at least I could see it as him going to bat for his friend (although, the "I'll leave death on your doorstep" comment will never not be funny). But it's obvious he doesn't know when to be quiet and just keep things to himself. You don't need to say that Big Daddy Kane couldn't outrap a picture of Jay-Z. And you don't need to say that you're the best that's doing it right now outside of your music.

Let's be honest, he's good. Very good. He can kill a verse whenever necessary. And I feel like he's what Eminem used to be in terms of being bar-heavy and smooth at the same time. But his legacy is with Bad Meets Evil. He's only really started doing damage in the last decade or so, and even then, he's not that regarded. What are his classic albums I should listen to? Would he be in the same spot without Eminem? It's weird. I thought sobriety would have made him less of an idiot. :mjtf:

Somebody needs to invite that dude to the Coli. Seems like he posts a lot on the Nas reddit page which isn't super active. Get him over here lol

Mos def...looking at his recent reddit posts and found some real interesting shyt:

Only Built For zShare Links...: King Of Da Crates: the DJ Mike Nice interview <- interview of other tracks he has

Nas' "Lyrically Ill" and "Fahrenheit 550" demo from 1992 has been on this DJ's hard drive for 8+ YEARS since he found them...if anybody can talk some sense into DJ Mike Nice to drop his Nas mixtape, that would be great, but based on his interview, he's waiting to find a few more rare Nas tracks to drop it as a complete mixtape for "Please Listen to My Demo Pt 2"...look at his twitter to see what he likes and see if you can cater to his needs so that we could at least hear those tracks. It's been 8 years since he tweeted about his findings so he may have some other rarities that we are not aware of. Please and thank you."

That last link mentions a song with Nas, G Rap and Akinyele called "The bytch Haters Club" :lolbron:

Is this the beat Khaled got him spittin over?

Hope so, would be dope...

I am pretty confident that Sinatra in the Sand will be on the Lost Tapes 3 based on the fact that he said that it will include features. That’s the Nas feature people want to hear the most.
