Any body notices that Nas doesn't use that much profanity in his rhymes, I wanna say in the past 12 years. I think its cool might be a nod to Rakim.

I don't think he's doing it on purpose. It sounds natural. I never noticed that "Nas Is Like" and "You Won't See Me Tonight" never had profanity either. If I'm not mistaken "You Owe Me" nor "Project Windows" has profanity.

Definitely noticed that. It helps when you have a dope vocabulary. You really don't have to use cuss words like that. The small things that set Nas apart from others.

@HNIC973 Did I miss something? I peeped the video. I heard when he mentioned that the rhymes for The Don was written back in 05 but I didn’t hear anything about the Toy. Are you just saying that was probably the case? We have know for sometime now that Nas recycles verses abs rhymes. To me though, I do not think that is a good reason not to release an unreleased track the utilizes the same or some of the same rhymes but over a different beat.
