Its almost surprising this hasn't yet. Nas and AZ have perfect chemistry.

This is like the most frustrating thing about Nas....most people pick on him cause of his beat selection but what gets me tight is his pettiness and moodiness....like he holds dumb ass gripes and grudges...

We should had at least 2 Firm albums....and several mixtapes with AZ and possible a Firm mixtape....

Like he shoulda bene locked in with AZ but also Mega and Nature.....Nature is so dope to me but he's doing absolutely nothing these days like fam ....I don't understand ...we got robbed of some potential classics

Yo comment

So the untitled album wasnt good to u:francis:
Wonder why
It's atleast 4 albums after God's son better than this:francis:
You sound stupid. Where did I say it wasn’t good? Just because I find one to be better doesn’t mean I don’t think the other isn’t good. And I have no doubt this is better than Nasir/Streets Disciple/Hip Hop Is Dead. Life is Good is close. He has only dropped 5 albums since God’s Son. So what you’re basically saying is that this is quite possibly the worst album he has ever dropped if you think he’s had at least 4 better albums since. And yet you think I’m saying something outlandish. fukk out of this thread.

I doubt his team will release another Lost Tapes anytime soon since LT2 was kind of a flop and had mixed reviews

i think with the popularity of this project, there is no question that Nas will drop another new album no later than this time next year with LT3 soon to follow that. Im thinking he may hold off on the dropping of the Nas Album Done stuff and stick with the current formula and this more popular sound, which is probably not a bad idea. Expect LT3 to either include big time features (like he previously said) and/or Nas Album Done material.

King's Disease - Nas usually has great opening songs and as usual Nas spitting. The beat is a little different from what I usually expect from Hitboy. Definitely Hitboy's Kanye impression. Good opening - 7/10 :jawalrus:
Blue Benz - This felt like Hitboy and Nas doing NYSM for 2020. Nas sounded super sharp and overall the track sounds HARD! I'd still give it a 7/10 overall because I skipped it a few times as I think I have to be in the mood for it. - 7/10 :whoo:
Car #85 - This is the one. Hit me immediately. It also passed the car test. I had a quick drive at night playing this and it just took me there.
Its now one of the first tracks I play on the album now. Charlie went nuts on it as expected. overall - 9/10 :ahh:

Ultra Black - I have to admit I didnt listen to it much when it was released. I heard it fully once from start to finish and left it because I just had a feeling this sounds better as part of the album and I was right. It sounds far better as part of the album. Beat is another Kanye type beat. Starting to make me feel like Hit was ghosting for Kanye a bit between Late registration and Graduation era. Probably not but this sounds like that era Kanye. Its a dope song overall not sure its a first Single though. Definitely putting it in my best of Nas playlist. 8/10:blessed:
27 Summers - Its a crime this joint is so short! Such a great sound. Even if it was another feature it would have been great. Flow sounded sharp. Definitely hit me on first listen. One of my faves off the album. 8/10:myman:
Replace Me - Weird one. I have to say I actually didnt like this at first. I found it a little disappointing to be honest, but it really grew on me after a few listens and its now one of my favourites from the album. It works and Sean was cool on it and Hook was great. I originally gave it a 5/10 but its now an 8/10 for me.:leon:
Till the war is won - I had very low expectations so I was pleasantly surprised it was better than I expected. I'm not keen on the beat and sound but Nas is spitting and Durk sounded better than expected. I enjoyed the first verse in particular. but its not one I come back to regularly. overall the song works but I skip it a bit. 6/10:ehh:
All Bad - I had high expectations for this because Paak is dope to me and doesnt miss. I didnt immediately like the track because I wasn't expecting this type of track. I'm not a fan of the beat but the track grew on me and I enjoy it more now. 7/10 :salute:
The Definition - 1st track I was very let down by the beat. I really liked the verses but I didnt enjoy this beat at all. So even when listening to it I initially want to skip it but then some of what Nas is spitting catches my ear then I let it finish. verses are very strong on this. I'll give it a 6/10:ehh:
Full Circle - Yeah, I was looking forward to this and it did not disappoint. I do think the beat was a little slower than expected but it was still dope. Verses are strong. AZ still with the timeless flow and a surprising little Dre verse at the end was dope. I enjoyed this a lot more than I initially thought. - 8/10 :blessed:
10 points - Least favourite beat on the album. But oddly the track was very compelling. Really enjoyed the verses and the hook. 6/10:ehh:
The Cure - Tough one, the 2nd beat was incredible and the whole joint itself had amazing verses. Nas just showing his elite rapping ability when he does tracks like it. I wish the 2nd beat was it for the whole track so it only gets a 9/10. great track.:ohlawd:
Spicy - Well this was different but surprisingly worked! Nice little fun track. verses were all ok. had a nice little bounce to it. cool track. 7/10:dj2:
Bonus - This aint love but I love it ft Dream - This track wasnt it for me. I'm glad it was left off the album. I heard it twice and just dont have any desire to listen to it again. - 4/10. :unimpressed:

I dont know where I'll rank it in Nas' catalogue yet. but I usually pick the 8/10 and above tracks from Nas' albums and add it to my best of Nas playlist and KIM. This has quite a few so it ranks very highly.

Its been over 20 years so weird time for him to be really upset

The OG group was Az, Fox, Nas and Mega
the marketing for the album had mostly AZ, Fox and Nas and he was the supporting act in some ways

Yeah, I asked Nature about this before years ago and that's literally the case. He said that there were a lot of stipulations as far as who could do songs with who because everyone was signed to different labels. For example, Nas could only be on a certain amount of songs with AZ, same with Fox and vice versa. Or maybe there was only a certain amount of songs all three could do together etc. Nature technically wasn't signed at the time and could record with anyone, so he kinda filled in the gaps.

I can see why he'd feel a way though. For everyone else in the group it was just a phase, but if you think about it that was the highlight of Nature's career.

The Firm album is dope as hell to me btw.

Damn that whole album was doomed to not live up to expectations. Too much politics.
