been listening to life is good all day
been stuck on back when for the last 20 minutes

And it's pathetic, I don't get the credit I deserve
That's why I hate doing interviews
But I don't sweat it, study long, study raw
My man Deon said "Nas over-think the songs he writing"
I'm not a wack performer standing behind a corny hype man
I got the Donism, I'm here to enlighten

and the way this song rides out from @ 2:56 to the end. smoooooooth!! :lawd:takes me back to 2012.

Even he realizes he doesn't get the credit he deserves. Real ones know he the goat though.

Nas truly has music for every occasion. He is the GOAT's GOAT. These riots and the anger in the nation is something Nas has rhymed about. I'm not talking about the rappers who talked about this shyt in the 90's with Rodney King. The ****** album and Distant Relatives are so underrated and still relevant today. Is there any other rapper who has been thoughtful enough and insightful enough to be on this type of real shyt. Jay Z just started talking about real stuff.

I wish Nas would drop a series of freestyles during this time. Conscious shyt addressing Covid and the Quaranteen, George Floyd, protesting and riots all while dropping some knowledge on these young warriors out here still tearing up shyt!

I'm ok with him not doing that. He's got so much relevant lyrics/music all over his discography that to me its easier and better to just go to that. It also shows he's always been about it, not just now.

Of course I wont say no to him dropping something like that though.

yeah, he does but I'd like him to spit fresh content on current events. His versatility is well known but he is probably the biggest lyrical artist that could effectively and credibly do it.
