Nas recently said that he was tired of celebrating Illmatic and I agree. I would love to see IWW get some love. When is the 25th Anniversary? I wonder if Nas was considering doing something for IWW when he made that statement.

I agree with him. Nas has so many other great albums and songs. They need to be highlighted just as much. I am was my first introduction to nas and from there I went backwards.

I copped Illmatic the first day it came out and I was very impressed. I wasn't floored though. By the time IWW came out, I really felt If I Ruled the World. Slowly, I developed more and more appreciation for Illmatic but after I am came out, and then people started getting unreleased music from Kazaa and Audiogalaxy, I was hooked. I collected all them shyts and got deep into Nas' catalog starting as far back as the demo. That's when all the made sense for me. Been collecting his music and a fan ever since.

The OG version is the worst beat EVER.

Perfect example of what a good beat can do. That remix sounds fresh as fukk, almost like a classic Nas track. The real version is something no one outside of stans remember due to how weak the beat is.

I didn't think anyone had a problem with "The N..." until now.

I didn't think anyone had a problem with "The N..." until now.

I absolutely love Nas catalog and I was not a fan of The N. There is another, rarer version of it called Don't Hate Me Now that I like better then the bonus track version of The N.
