I think eventually Nas has to acknowledge the Kelis thing, its taken a life on its own

I do think its unfair to expect him to address it on this album but hes got to do it somewhere even if its the most scary thing he does.

He’ll acknowledge it when and of he feels like it.

Honestly, even though its a hot topic of discussion right now, unless Kelis goes on a full on press tour claiming he beat her and every stop, it probably won’t effect him long term. His business dealings seem secure and right now “male accountability” is the hot take. It FEELS more like a fad than an actual thing. R.Kelly still out here locking women in houses and pissing on them. Johnny Depp still making movies even though his ex claimed he was Ike Turner Jr.

Nas already addressed the ups and downs of the marriage on LIG. Anybody with ANY common sense can place the timeline of Kelis’s accusations with Nas taking her to court to uphold him having time with his son. NO deadbeat father goes to court to fight to see their child. Kelis’s claims are easy to pole holes into.

Exactly.

Besides, Kelis just recently brought up those accusations. He just put out this album, which was probably near completion when she did the interview.

I think these articles and reviews are going in on Nas for not talking about Kelis being abused because he's been so open and candid about his personal life in the past. He addressed Destiny's Twitter post in regard to the condoms on "Daughters", talked about his mother's battle with cancer and how it affected him throughout God's Son. He even talked about how he felt his brother was envious of him on "The Cross". That's not even mentioning how Kelis was a muse of songs like "Roses" and "Bye Baby" from Life Is Good.

I think Kanye has the modern touch and sound that can revive legends. I want him to work with all our legends: Rakim, Lauryn Hill.

Not that Nas needed this but this was a dream collaboration that i wanted for a long time. Blessed to see it happen!

Kanye did an album with Lauryn Hill, it wasn't completed or released. Interestingly she also did half an album with Black Milk and it never came out.
