Why does he need to shut something down that he enjoys? He has plenty of cash from mutiple ventures and a few club appearances is hardly being on the road. The man is enjoying time with his family and friends.

Nas enjoys interacting with his fans in a club environment. He loves to talk with them and take pics. He also likes the music. It's not about the performance for Nas is more about the connection. It's not like he gets to do this every week because for the most part he chills at home. The man does not have to leave his home to record music. His album will be completed in due time.

I've never taken him to be one who drops a surprise album.
Maybe in this climate its fine to do so, but he always seems like a guy who does the whole traditional gearing of the album with a street single etc. Nas Album Done could have been that but that was Khaled.
