Finally finished it,

I like how they intertwined the hank, femicide, and Amado stories. There’s no true justice in Mexico, poor women get slaughtered by gangs while hank gets a apology from Janet Reno and a giant statue

what a way to go on the operation table, those dr’s got that work being dismembered and tossed into barrels of concrete

These cartels are fascinating. Amado was probably the last actual leader. When he died or left, it was a wrap for his organization. Still a damn shame how quickly they covered the Juarez cartel.

Also Mayo is real leader right? Cuz it don't even seem like the Mexican government is trying to capture him like they were Chapo

Damn shame that annoying reporter broad never got naked

Mayo is supposedly the leader right now but he’s in poor health, he might be dead

I just came in here to say the news reporter chick, she ain't it :scust: Her acting is really bad. Every scene she making some goofy azz face. I can't count how many times she was like:dwillhuh::sadcam::mjcry::wtf: What's just as bad as her acting was her accent while she narrated :scust: Why is she trying so hard to talk with an American accent? It comes out sounding all over the place. Just speak English with a Mexican accent :what:

Thought this season was pretty cool.

Had some BIG action scenes… Benjamin’s bday party, the airport… those were intense and realistic
:sadcam:

Also which I rarely see mentioned is Amado had The General Rebello via Hank on his payroll the whole time; don’t act like that wasn’t a surprise

I feel people on the meandering subplot about the girls. I mean they tied it in via Vincente (Amado’s bro), and the conclusion was… there is no conclusion because the problem was bigger than the cop thought so…
:yeshrug:

I’m not a cartel historian tho, so I don’t know how much this is falling short but it was entertaining to me

shyt reminds me of the McNulty homeless murders from the wire. Just irrelevant to the story we want to see. I don't care if 1m women got murdered. Make a separate documentary and let people who care watch.
You completely missed the point of mcnulty’s homeless murders then. It was used for unlimited police funding like the airport shootout that took out the bishop.

Nikkas always complaining about shyt. I love Narcos and this season was great.

Y'all probably complained about season 2 of the Wire, like I don't want to see this port shyt. I don't want to see cacs, I just want to see some nikkas shooting at each other. :mjpls:

The white DEA agent is necessary because if the whole cast is Spanish, it becomes a "Spanish" show.

The Mexican cop is necessary because it shows how corrupt they are, they will look the other way with drug dealers and perhaps even work for them.

The plot with the dead girls are necessary, because this is a the first time I am hearing about it, and want to know more. They hinted about this even in Sicario. I don't even know what that is about.

The reporter story is necessary because they tied the story of the general working for the drug dealers. Also reporters were being killed during that time. Also how the press is controlled in Mexico. There is no "free press".

Not all of us watched "El Chapo". I tried but the production value was not good.
