Watching that off brand Chapo series and now watching this is confusing as shyt because of the different actors playing characters.
The story is different too. They made it seem like Chapo and Felix was cool for the most part.

After his arrest, Félix Gallardo decided to divide up the trade he controlled as it would be more efficient and less likely to be brought down by law enforcement.[2][21] Félix Gallardo instructed his lawyer to convene the nation's top drug narcos in 1989 at a house in the resort of Acapulco where he designated the plazas or territories. The Tijuana route would go to his nephews, the Arellano Felix brothers.[22][23] The Ciudad Juárez route would go to the Carrillo Fuentes family.[22][23] Miguel Caro Quintero would run the Sonora corridor.[22] Joaquín Guzmán Loera and Héctor Luis Palma Salazar were left the Pacific coast operations, with Ismael Zambada García joining them soon after and thus becoming the Sinaloa Cartel.[22][23] The control of the Matamoros, Tamaulipas corridor – then becoming the Gulf Cartel – was left undisturbed to Juan García Ábrego,[22][23] who was not a party to the 1989 pact.[24]

Félix Gallardo still planned to oversee national operations, but when he was transferred to a high-security prison in 1993, he lost any remaining control over the other drug lords.[2][25]

This seems more believable than the Narcos story.

That part made no sense to me. Also if he did it, I would guess the other leaders where in on it. That much weight just sitting in a warehouse in sylmar, its no tellin who snitched. Not to mention that white looking columbian with Pancho was an informant back in the cali episodes.

Because Narcos fabricated Felix's involvement in that bust.

Remember, once the product was delivered to the US destination, it was the Colombians' responsibility.

Furthermore, remember Navigante making Amado sign off on the 70 ton load towards the end at the airport? At that point, that load became Felix's responsibility. I'm sure similarly when the load was delivered to the US destinations, it became the Colombians' responsibility again.
