I watched late last night, this movie was meh. First 10 minutes was dope but after that? I kept expecting Cole to turn into Scorpion! Turns out, he’s just some made up nikka. The script/dialog was trash! And the Sonya Blade actress did terrible in the role. Feels like this movie came out in 2003. I’m not sure MK translates good on the screen. Kano was entertaining.

There's more than enough lore for it to translate well onto the big screen... MK (1995) proved that.

This MK was good, and it made enough money to get a sequel out. That will be the make or break for this iteration.
