Why is there a no spoiler tag on a documentary? :mjlol:
shyt we talked about openly for decades now is spoilers because someone put it on video?
It's now spoilers because shyt we talked about openly is now being discussed with the people involved and we're getting their thoughts and reactions for the first time.

What kind of bullshyt is this? Dwight and Nash were stars who wanted to come to LA and then Kobe tore his Achilles at which point everybody figured he was done for. There was never a window after basketball reasons for any other superstar to join Kobe before the Achilles tear.
He worded it wrong. The media made so much bullshyt about Kobe being a “a$$hole” and no one wanted to play for the lakers cause of Kobe blah blah. This was actually a big talking point haters would use aganist the lakers even on here. There’s like 385728384838 different threads of nikkas saying “nobody want to play with Kobe” and that was a popular narrative once upon a time. It’s just different times plus MJs a$$hole behavior wasn’t that much in the media during his prime, where as everybody knew about Kobe’s behavior since the Shaq shyt. Different times

What did they talk about that they could've left out?

Rodman episode could have been blended with the Phil Jackson, carrying on the man management perspective they we're using. Hardly like they told us anything massively new about either.

Also you could of juxtaposed The Olympics with the gambling to show how the media builds and tears down it's heroes more concisely.

How so?:stopitslime:

Its unseen footage, endless hours

6 episodes uno:mjlol:

This documentary came about because an NBA film crew followed The Bulls last championship season right? But how much footage have we actually seen from so far? Maybe 30 minutes total? I've learnt 100x more about the 'Real Jordan' on this forum than 8 episodes of this mystical unseen footage. It's great entertainment and I'm grateful for something to watch during lockdown but let's take it for what it is.

How many people would talk about all the negatives? Such as gambling, his dads death, rumors etc.

Dude was candid as hell and if he really wanted to control the narrative etc. all that ish would have been cut out.
I'm somewhat perplexed by the sentiment from some on the documentary. Here you have a international star goat basketball player still number 1 in shoe sales doing a 10 part documentary where he literally addresses every urban legend and controversy that came up about him even allowing himself to look like a complete a$$hole to some of his teammates yet they are still claiming Jordan is controlling a narrative and tip toeing through the tulips?

Is it anger because he is defending his position? Should he just say "yea I did all that shyt I'm a terrible person"?

Jordan don't have to do this not like he a billionaire losing money trying to get his star back. He was set if he did this doc or not. This doc is actually helping the other bulls players in press and attention more than it's doing for Jordan. Its as if he is only throwing others under the bus when everything from Jordan being a gambler to being a bully is being discussed as well. I just dont get it
