Do you honestly believe Bron doesn't have a film crew already? He's prob had one since his rookie year.

I overall agree with your first point but it's possible for new athletes to have mystique. Consider how Beyonce, Rihanna, and even Kendrick maintain an aura of mystique by almost never doing interviews and largely ignoring social media. Versus someone like Drake who is all over IG and twitter yearly. Bron is probably best off being so visible. But I can imagine a superstar emerging who just wins and keeps an aura about him. He'd have to have swagger tho.

Not doubting he has a team around him already you're right.

As for Beyonce, RiRi, and Kendrick. They are prime example of letting their talent speak and that's that. KDot may not have as many hit singles or money as Drake but he is respected and we don't know much about how he moves.

Krause is a POS, but all the moves had to go through Reinsdorf first. The decision to let Phil go, trying to trade Pippen... all decisions Reinsdorf had power over.

These guys robbed the world of another Bulls title, because barring injury I'm sure the bulls would've won it all in 99 as well.

I agree. If anything, the timing of Scotties surgery, the acrimonious relationship between the GM, the team and ownership and the fact that they still won everything shows you why the 98 squad is showcased in this documentary. To know you are in a messed up situation and the team is falling apart at the seams no matter what happens and you still go out every night and win is amazing.

Ladies and gentlemen, that’s the reason why Jordan will always be the GOAT. shyt got tough and he got tougher. Going out on top was of the highest importance to MJ and he stopped at nothing to make sure that happened. Six rings and zero losses.

Is this the craziest Jordan stat ever?

NBA record 5 playoff series averaging at least 40 points per game

  1. 1986 First Round vs Celtics – 43.7 ppg on 51%
  2. 1988 First Round vs Cavaliers – 45.2 ppg on 56%
  3. 1990 Eastern Conference Semifinals vs Sixers – 43 ppg on 55%
  4. 1992 First Round vs Heat – 45 ppg on 61%
  5. 1993 Finals vs Suns – 41 ppg on 51%
  • No other player in NBA history has more than 1 40ppg+ average in a playoff series of any length. Jordan did it 5 times.
  • Elgin Baylor 1962 vs the Lakers (40.6ppg on 43%FG), Jerry West 1965 vs the Bullets (46.3ppg on 45%FG), Rick Barry 1967 vs the 76ers (40.8ppg on 40%FG), Bernard King 1984 vs the Pistons (42.6ppg on 60%FG) are the only players ever to accomplish this feat.
  • Jordan was also the last player in history to do this when he averaged 41ppg in the NBA Finals of 1993 vs the Suns
Think about this for a second....That is every player to ever set foot in the NBA . Of all time. Ever.. That's just absurd.

That efficiency, tho.....45 ppg on 61% shooting as a wing?

Obviously that’s what happened, hence me saying if Houston had the FORESIGHT. They went twin towers instead of a dynamic big-guard combo (ala Kareem-Magic).
Foresight being Sampson’s back doesn’t give out and their back court don’t become cocaine cowboys?

That team washed the Lakers in 1986.

Finally finished the first two episode and the entertainment value was :wow:.

I was thinking what modern story would match this and I honestly think the story of how the Warriors became a dynasty would be just as interesting. From drafting Steph, Klay, Draymond & Barnes, giving Steph a discount salary due to his injury issues which ultimately allowed them to get Iggy, almost trading Klay for Kevin Love, signing Kerr which kicked off their historic run, winning a title with their drafted core, winning 73 games but losing the finals, Barnes rejecting a contract which ultimately let them sign Durant, winning back to back with the Durant and finally the beef with Durant & Draymond which signalled the end of an era.

Hope we won’t have to wait 20 years for it :mjcry:
