shyt was amazing. They were so tired, out-of-shape, knew Mike was gone, Rodman fukkkery was at max, yet relied purely on their past success and IQ to win games. It's their most important ring. 72-10 is nice, but "The shot" (Harden push) will always be the GOAT finals moment.

Jay-Z's "Allure" goes perfect with that 98 Bulls season.
Agree with this - this championship is arguably the most important one.

They dealt with all those things you mentioned: the mileage catching up to them, Rodman being unreliable, Pippen's back in the Finals, etc. They were literally running on fumes and on the ropes in that game 6. shyt they were on the ropes in Gm 7 of the ECFs.

Breh, a lot of people who recognize Lebron's greatness recall quite clearly Jordan's career and how the media and fans mythologized Jordan's greatness to somehow be this untouchable level of play. And it just isn't true.

MJ is undoubtedly one of the best players ever. Probably the best ever. And I have no doubt this documentary will be fantastic.

But he isn't on some island of greatness by himself. A number of players are there with him. And that seems like a harsh reality that many fans can't accept, for some creepy, weird reason.

This is some subjective criticism that has no basis in actual measurables.
When you look at the objective evidence, there's absolutely no argument against him.

And keep in mind that I am open to the idea that Jordan or Kareem may very well rank as better.
But this idea that Lebron isn't in the discussion or that it's insulting that Jordan may not be the best ever...that's just preposterous to me.

Very...
Lebron is :camby: off top.

I would say Kareem has the best argument out of him and Wilt.

But nah.
Could you make any argument against Lebron not being in that top tier of players that doesn't revolve around something silly like Finals record?

This looks fire!
:whew:

All you little dudes who have never even seen MJ or Kobe play in real-time and who have to google "What is the flu game?" don't watch this, it'll make you jump from your bandwagon and have you nauseous before you're back with your team. Also: you wouldn't wear those sneakers if it wasn't for MJ.

Those Bulls were no joke. This was back when the NBA meant No Bytchassness Allowed. It's not some myth: 90s and 2000s NBA was better and competition was more intense than today's NBA.

Real rivalries - none of that "let's create a group chat" buddy buddy bullshyt

With Phil as the Zen Mastermind and MJ in charge they were unstoppaBULLS for real.
