One of the failures of Phase 5 has been not introducing the X-Men into the fold.

Instead of the dumb plot of The Marvels, that film should've been the introduction of Rogue into the MCU. The first Captain Marvel film was partially set in Louisiana; Rogue in the comics is from Mississippi (which borders Louisiana).

Rogue is a mischievous young girl/woman (late teens or early twenties) that breaks into a military base or something. Monica and Carol track her down; in the process, Rogue absorbs some of Carol's powers (thus Captain Marvel becomes less powerful and Rogue gains a ton of strength).

Because she's younger, Monica and Carol bring in Kamala Khan to help. They go looking for Rogue and find her in some camp in the Louisiana/Mississippi Bayou that's being run by Mystique and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Rogue eventually comes to the good side. Blah blah blah.

You guys get the point. Marvel Studios should not be keeping the X-Men completely in the shadows until Secret Wars (or even Doomsday).

Fox contract prohibited Disney from releasing any X-Men without using the original cast members so if this was done, Anna Paquin would've been Rogue. 🤮

Shorty from "The Substance" is being considered for the role and rumor is that they have already begun working on this for after doom wars.

If Hugh is still Wolverine (or Cavill), I ain't watching this shıt at all.

Huh? I'm talking about Phase 5 of the MCU (2023-present). Also, The Marvels entered production in 2021, which is after Disney acquired Fox.

They acquired Fox but the contracts Fox had with X Men actors were still valid. If they used any already existing Fox X Men characters they have to use a Fox actor. Hence why all the X Men so far have been from Fox, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Chris Evans, Kelsey Grammar. They can't recast until 2025/2026. This has been reported as a rumor but based on how the MCU has used the X Men characters it seems to be true.

I'm not sure about those X-Men contract rumors being true or "valid". I just think that the MCU brought those particular actors back for nostalgia purposes.

For example, Ioan Gruffudd didn't play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but John Krasinski did.

:ohhh:
  • Everything major of note:

    • Franklin is in Fantastic Four: First Steps and has a Spider-Man onesie in the concept art
    • Some sort of H.E.R.B.I.E. truck owned by the "Reed Richards Company"
    • Concept art of Silver Surfer (Shalla-Bal)
    • Hulk, She-Hulk and presumably Skaar in "Hulk Village" (According to the file name)
    • Doom's Royal Court with Sherriff Strange and Sue and Franklin by his side
    • Unsure who the prisoner is, but he is chained by what looks to be Yelena - Thunderbolts working for Doom?
    • White Vision and Peter Quill bonding on Earth
    • More art of Doom on a throne
    • A Young Avengers lineup of Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang, Wiccan, Speed and Ms. Marvel meet with Wong and Peter Quill. Doop is also present for some reason
    • Several different designs for a Black Panther - the file name has him as T'Chanda, aka Azzuri, the Black Panther during WWII
    • Finally, concept art for Jocasta, presumably for Vision Quest

Naw...this ain't it. Doom is supposed to steal the Beyonders powers.

They keep changing around the source material for Robert Downey Jr's benefit... it's irritating.....They need to stick to the source material like they were doing in Phase 1 when they were more successful.

Ironman they got rid of the, "Ironman is Tony Stark's bodyguard." Immediately so RDJ could show his face and that was part of the source material. And that's the first movie.

Y’all gotta accept the MCU won’t be entirely comic accurate.
