Weird flex cause if Tom Holland has a tragic death they'll definitely retire Peter Parker and move on to Miles Morales breh. :skip:

Someone is being really quiet right now, lol. Cameo or not, I do actually hope he's involved somehow. Plus "Creed III" drops Thanksgiving two weeks after "Wakanda Forever". So he will be doing promo for that film soon. It's Michael B Jordan's directorial debut too. Coogler still produced and worked on the Story. Lastly until I see the movie I will hold back judgment on the story choices. Trailers show the money shots but they rarely tell the whole tale honestly.
Only if he want to know before the film bro
Shuri becomes BP. She's forced to figure out how to get a herb to recreate. However, when going to the ancestral plane she doesnt see T'Challa she sees Killmonger. They have heated words and she returns and rocks the BP suit with gold, but obviously feminine.

This implies that T'Challa isn't dead, which implies the character will be recast at some point.

the leak says she gets kilmonger because she "cheated" by creating a fake herb so she's not allowed to go to the realm the real kings are in

I dont know.

They could easily explain it away. However, I do know Shuri meets him there. Killmonger was always supposed to be in the movie for the ancestral plane scene in the sequel. However, because Boseman died/they didnt recast it was switched to Shuri. It would be smart if Killmonger told her he's not dead or although he couldd say he's now the King of the Dead. Just hard to tell, but yea he's supposed to see Killmonger tho

Two hurdles this movie has are Riri and Shuri.

Riri because...why? And thats no knock against the character. She probably was just going to be a cameo at first and decided to give her more screen time with no T'Challa. However, they have to make it work organically with her being needed in the plot.

The trailer sells Wakanda and Atlantis (or whatever they call it) PERFECTLY. However, if its truly over Riri shenanigans...
Then damn that takes away time spent focused on those two civilizations. Again she could be dope it just needs to really make sense why she's there.

High key the America Chavez story line took away from Dr. Strange 2.

And then there's Shuri.

I had told myself that maybe the actress has beefed up a bit to look like he could sell being a threat. Then I saw her dap up Riri and her arms look so thin still. It just ruins the suspension of disbelief.

Okoye and Nakia went at Killmonger when they had no powers and held their own for a sec.

If its just Shuri gets the powers and now can whoop Namor's ass. Then dont that make Namor look weak as hell and doesnt that sort of undo the appreciation of Boseman's T'Challa? even Killmonger. Those dues put in WORK for YEARS.

Shuri takes the herb and now she can whoop Namor :why:

Everything looks great. They just have to handle those two issues with care or it wont live up to its potential. Its just too bad Lupita wasnt cast as Shuri at first.

Y’all got to stop with all this “Incel” and “women hater” labels cuz it’s not simply ain’t true. Nobody is hating this cuz it is primary Black females in it. We hate it cuz Marvel is doing a disservice by removing T’Challa from the MCU entirely. If Shuri was BP for this film and a recast T’Challa was then made BP for the 3rd one (just like in the comics where Shuri was BP for a short while until T’Challa returned) then hardly anyone would have a problem with that.

T’Challa is a very important Marvel hero and Chadwick would not have wanted for the character to die with him.

No. People changed their opinions when they caught wind of Shuri potentially taking on the mantle of The Black Panther.
And the “feminist agenda” concerns started cropping up.
Let them had recast T’Challa, and brehs would be in here still crying about how they could’ve chosen a better actor. Like I said Marvel is damned if they do, damned if they don’t.
I read comics. I'm a huge pre-Coates Shuri fan. If you look in the OG BP thread, I actually said that Shuri challenging BP could be a plot point of the movie when we were discussing possible plots. Most said that they think BP should shine in his own movie first and not have to vie for the throne. Ironically, it happened in the movie 3x, but not with Shuri and everyone was given a chance to shine, but T'Challa

Shuri in MCU doesn't fit as a replacement for BP. Even before Chadwick died, NO ONE wanted to see Shuri assume the mantle in BP2. People were saying they could make that Nakia or Okoye if they wanted to go that route. It's not the feminist agenda, it's that she's 4'11 and 85lbs, and not a leader, not a politician, not brash/headstrong, not an outstanding fighter. She's a lab rat that should stay in the lab. Hell, the fight in Infinity War where they could've given her the moment to shine, she practically ran.

I don't think anyone would've said they should've chosen a better actor. There's like 10 actors they could've chosen from to fill that role. A lot of the "BP" fans didn't even see Civil War where he was presented better.

Let's say they did decide to recast, and it didn't work out for whatever reason, they still have other options to continue, incluing killing him off. By killing him off now, there's no other option for T'Challa. People want to see T'Challa on screen.

:russ: nikkas acting stupid best believe. Disney got about 5 white boys, on speed dial.
That nikka is tripping big time. It’s crazy how dudes on here are so comfortable with having the very first Black superhero erase from future films and even coming up with mental gymnastics to defend it. :mjlol:

shyt is hella embarrassing.
