That has to be a man in the final shot. I stopped it to double check and it’s too muscular to be a woman. Hopefully they decided to bring Killmonger back. It makes the most sense. And with TChalla and Shuri blipping away and Angela Bassett’s character being desperate to fight Namor, they can easily make it believable for her to go to him for help.

Now that the trailer is out, some of the Re-cast T'Challa crowd are changing their minds. Trailer looks good....but I'm keeping the same energy and waiting for streaming/leak. No T'Challa = no money for Disney from me this time around.

Why the hell did this get a November release instead of Summer? Sorry Dr. Strange or Thor should have been in this November slot and Black Panther should have had a May release or July. Black Panther is a bigger draw of a movie. I expect it to do better than both even without Chadwick because of the anticipation. The only silver lining is it has a whole 5 weeks to clean up before "Avatar 2" including Thanksgiving. Michael B has been treading all night. So the speculation is going to be there because of that last shot and suit. But again won't be shocked if it Shuri. I agree with people saying the shot of the Child is most likely showing flashbacks of Namor's childhood. Now does this take place in the 5-Year time gap of the snap? Also they know Black America is going to support this no matter what already. Now they getting Hispanic/Latino/Mexican audiences coming through with Namor addition.

You realize how perfect this movie could have been with T'Challa...especially Boseman.

On in its own it looks truly great.

Again. Loki and Spider-Man’s actors didn’t suffer an untimely death.
Are we really gonna sit here and pretend like recasting T’Challa after Chadwick would’ve been cake. All of the comparisons and arguing about whether the new actor did the role justice, not as a good as Chad etc.. Hence why I said they damned if they do, and damned if they don’t.

Gonna have to recast eventually.

If this movie occurs during the blip (hopefully it is) then that’ll soften his return in the 3rd movie with a new T’Challa actor.

Bring in a new character for the third movie (people would adjust and talk shyt) but would see it. If the script is good it won’t matter.

But then they would have to explain how the world we’ve seen in so many shows and movies that take place post-blip have not bothered to mention the Atlanteans. That’s nor something that would be ignored.

Still need to see if Coogler can handle a major 3rd act set piece in the MCU

Part of the problem with BP was that the Dora's vs Border Tribe felt small. I know he was trying to make the fight seem more intimate, but still.

This should high key feel like Infinity War in terms of its scale (Wakandans) Cant have Wakanda vs Atlantis feel like a street fight.

Yea and one of the biggest complaints of Black Widow is how it feels weird and out of place because it should've come out years ago

And it steps over everything. You have a clear defined moment of T'challa returning for the biggest fight in the universe and your proposed plot undercuts it
