Nah, a good movie will nullify any unjust criticism. However, the plot leaked shows a bland movie, there's no clash of titans due to not recasting, and there's 1 black man in it so far.
Yeah, we consume overwhelmingly white media on a daily basis in one form or another. So I can't see not supporting a black director & primarily black cast in a blockbuster project.
Doesn't make it immune to criticism but it definitely deserves a fair shot.
Re-watched this trailer over 10X…Tem’s cover of Bob Marley’s “No Women, No Cry” mixed in with the cinematic version of Kendrick’s “Alright”
Hearing Angela Bassett scream “I AM QUEEN OF THE MOST POWERFUL NATION IN THE WORLD! AND MY ENTIRE FAMILY IS GONE!” with that mural of Chadwick flashes on the screen and you hear Pharrell say “We gon be Alright!” when the drums hit..
“HAVE I NOT GIVING YOU EVERYTHING !!!!”
That teaser trailer was perfection..showed you just enough.
Can’t wait till November..
I did read up on Reddit on what the plot for the movie is gonna be and the trailer matches up with what I read. I have a strong feeling the movie is gonna have have mixed reviews just on the direction it takes. And you can blame Leticia Wright for that..
Plenty of actors who have portrayed notable characters have died and had their roles recasted.
And plus a lot of people changed their opinion regarding recasting. Majority are in favor of it including Chadwick’s family because they felt as though he would want the role to live on with another Black male actor.
No. People changed their opinions when they caught wind of Shuri potentially taking on the mantle of The Black Panther.
And the “feminist agenda” concerns started cropping up.
Let them had recast T’Challa, and brehs would be in here still crying about how they could’ve chosen a better actor. Like I said Marvel is damned if they do, damned if they don’t.
You're right. I thought Betty and General Ross were the same actors. I haven't seen the Ang Lee version since i watched the bootlegwhen it was in theaters. I also thought the opening credits of Edward Nortan's Hulk also gave a summery of the Ang Lee film.

I think I read somewhere that the original plan was for The Incredible Hulk(2008) to be a sequel to Hulk(2003), but they rewrote the script, so there’s probably some remnants there.
