Luke cage is bullet proof and superstrong. if they can do captain america justice without an r rating, shouldn't be much harder with Luke.

Spoilers sound horrible. They should’ve just made a reforming Killmonger BP. T’Chall actually granted his wish of burying him at sea. Atlanteans get the body and resurrects him trying to get secrets of heart shaped herb. He escapes, warns Wakanda of a war and helps them win it doing some truly heroic shyt. At the end, they make him BP but decision is very controversial so he’s not king. Many don’t like him but can’t deny the heritage and efforts against Atlantis so leaders realize the country needs him as a warrior for future battles against an increasing number of enemies.

for a second i thought they might consider... then they brought Killmonger back in What If and could have easily started planting the seed towards a redemption... and they made him the most evil man in the universe again or some shyt.

this looks like its gonna an all female movie. looks like the only men will be the wakanda soldiers but all the major battles/problems will be taken care by shuri, ironheart and the female bodyguard crew.
the first bp had balance, this looks all female empowerment. and the storyline doesnt look all that great.
i wish ryan could have used kraven the hunter like he wanted also. idk about this this, could be decent but i dont have much faith in marvel projects at the moment.(plus i didnt think the last spiderman was all that either....so)

My biggest disconnect is I cant take this version of Shuri seriously as any type of Black Panther.
I hope there is some kind of twist they haven’t revealed yet.

If they're gonna introduce T'Challa's son as a storyline, why not just fast forward it to Azari, the son of BP and Storm and give him lightening powers but keep her alive as a member of the X Men?

Yeah the rumoured baby son storyline is lame. As without time travel hijinks how is the son even going to be a factor anytime soon?
I feel Marvel really wrote themselves into the corner with this. I feel for Coogler. They were close to production and decisions had to be made. I feel his made the wrong one or it was made for him. And if this film does bad critically they'll throw him under the bus. Remember the first movie made over a billion dollars.
There should have respectfully been a recast. Instead it seems they thought they had a compromise/ winner with a black female fronted movie. Blue tick were happy as hell about a female black Panther. Now even they've changed their mind
I do wonder how they are going to handle the press tour with Letitia Wright? I can already see multiple questions to her about her anti Vax stance. And if she's the lead, they can't hide her away
Also this will be a big test Chadwick was a star. Marvel are hoping that it was the premise that brought people to the cinema. Naw you needed that linchpin that everything was built around.
