This thread is crazy. Chadwick died and Marvel backed itself into a corner when they announced they weren't going to recast in honor of him. That was a big fukk up, but its too late to do anything about it now. Knowing that, the leaked synopsis really doesn't seem bad at all.
Are the ones complaining about Namor being in the movie familiar with the comics at all? From the jump I wanted to see war between Atlantis and Wakanda jump off. Their rivalry is one of the best parts of the comics.
If you're not a comic head you need to fall back. This is a franchise based around comic books.
Doom War is one of the BP comics I wanted to see made into a movie and it looks like finally happening.
This is the part that hurts about the movie, not the fact that Namor is in it.
You guys are over here reading leaks about the movie, so you should already know that Secret Wars is coming. Marvel needs to correct course on BP for sure, but kicking up all this fuss when you should know;
When the multiverses converge into one, Marvel is going to have a chance to recast EVERYONE, including T'Challa. No way in hell we don't get a new Tony Starks, Steve Rogers, T'Challa, X-Men, etc.
The rumors conflict with your SW theory though, cause if thats the case no meed for the plot point in the rumors
