Eventually they'll reboot the MCU so they can do it right with X-Men there from the jump. It will happen then.

The pressure that M'Baku and Shuri actors about to get. I like them but no way they can carry a whole movie like that.
I can already see that they'll probably insert a bigger white actor to bring bums to seats.

Yea this is a Feige decision imo. Without Chad giving him the heads up he'd rather not be criticized for recasting.

Sooooo T'Challa is gone for the for good in live action and possibly the comics will follow suit (Marvel loves synergy). Next BP will probably be female as this gives Marvel a perfect opportunity to have a Black woman lead a film in the MCU which hasn't happened as of yet. Possibly Okoye or Nakia.
Biggest thing I'm taking away from this is that Coogler has to scrap what he's been working on and rewrite the script. This is not good as I'm betting the idea/concept he had before Chadwick's tragic passing was stronger than what he will probably come up with in the wake. We'll see, but I'm less excited about this now. If they wanted to expand the world of Wakanda then they should have made a tv show.

I agree. I've lost COMPLETE interest in the movie now. Won't be getting my money (not like they need it anyway).
They will eventually recast Black Panther and do a reboot in 2026 or something.
