Unprecedented time of loss. People are protective of the BP franchise. I think they won’t recast based on that alone, which itself is unprecedented. I think they’ll go the Shuri route. Secondly , I loved Boseman as Panther, and I rather not fukk with something once its done right.

Its the same way I feel about Christopher Reeves’ Superman, or Bale’s Batman, or Ledger’s Joker, or Evans’ Cap.

I think Bale's Batman is HIGHLY overrated, Heather Ledger made the second movie and the third one was trash. He was decent in the first but it wasn't a good movie BECAUSE of it, it was in spite of him.

But I DO agree that BP should NOT be recast, whoever that actor is will catch hell from fans. People are very territorial with their preferences.

Did James Bond die with Sean Connery? Chadwick’s death was both unexpected and sad. However to kill the character they were building up to potentially be the second if not main face of the MCU to replace with Shuri is shortsighted and reactionary.

Who here remembers Spartacus? Fans were concerned,,, but They recasted him just fine after the actor's passing and didn't skip a beat. As tragic as Chad's death is, you'd be surprised how well a recasting will be received if they do a good job of it.
