Tbh I wouldn't even put sabertooth in the 1st game as a proper boss out the gate, i'd probably go with William stryker, lady death strike, cyber and omega red for actual boss fights.
Those characters, tie heavily into daken, mystique, silver samurai, romulus, the winter soldier, the hand, daredevil, viper weapon x program etc etc...

Forreal tho, X-men was a d list team and had marvel on the brink of bankrupsty when it was just Cyclops and the og crew.
Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Storm came through and marvel had a resurgence. People need to respect that wolverine is >>>.Cyclops
beside actors don't wanna be wearing a mask over their eyes for a whole movie, so he will never be good in live action either. It'll either be some struggle actor playing his role. or big name actor making them take the visor off for most of the film. like they had mystque doing with Jennnifer lawerance looking like her real life self for 99% of the movie.

nah, he was wack in the comics from 1963 to 2004. The they tried to make him cool for the gen y kids that read comics in the 2010s.
