maybe it could be an uncharted style game since he can climb. He can climb walls easier than average people, lol. But yeah, otherwise, he's not really suited for open world as far as superhero open world goes.

The producer on this did that recent guardians game which was cool. They also seemed to nail the flight mechanics in anthem.Yeah I knew that but I would rather Insomniac do it
They don’t miss

Basically anything respawn touches there partnership with koei
For Wild hearts has been great (minus wild hearts technically issues)
EA is doing it
I won't be mad if it is, but wolverine as a character doesn't have any traversal abilities so it would feel kinda weird exploring a vast open world on foot. I know he rides motorcycles often in the comics but he's not really associated with any bike in the way someone like ghost rider is. to me an last of us style game would be more sutiable for him. Logan the movie was essentially the last of us in the x-men world low key.
We have enough games where you collect items and do repetitive side missions, the Insomniac Spider-Man games are well made but I haven't played them for this reason. I felt the same way about Ghost of Tshusmia, a good 60% of that game is standard open world bs, it's disappointing.
I don't think I need much exploration from this game, give me something like Devil May Cry combat wise with an explorable Xavier Institute as a hub like the U Boat in Wolfenstein 2.
I actually agree with both of you, i just meant it wouldn't be a turnoff for me if it was like the spiderman game with wolverine. you can always play an open world game in a linear fashion by just skipping the exploration and going from main quest to main quest. just have to lower the difficulty to account for the lack of character progression you normally get by leveling up with all the collectibles.i personally don’t want dmc-combo-rific combat from wolverine. I want limb chopping, stabbing, slicing, tearing, and brutal finishers and i want to see actual physical damage taking place on both wolverine and enemies as its happening.
I want it violent and grounded with good gore and blood splatter effects

but ideally i'd want a more linear game, and yes i'd like for his claw attacks to feel lethal and not having to crank up long combos to take out an enemy.
for me i think a good wolverine game would be like last of 2 when it comes to navigating the world and low key the combat as well.
Yep, you already know. Put that camera over the shoulder/behind the back, and lets gets nasty
We need this type of energy for the game
