I don't understand how you can just assume any top 140lb'er would "wash" AlgierI when he beat one of the top guys at 140 in Provodnikov.There isn't any special talent at 140 (unless Manny moves down permanently).All of the top guys campaigning at 140 are flawed in some way.People are in here touting Danny Garcia as some elite fighter not remembering that this is the same guy who went life and death with Mauricio Herrera and the corpse of Erik Morales (in the 1st fight). Did we forget that Lucas Matthysee looked less than impressive against John Molina

Marcos is a solid B fighter arguably B+. Aljazeera ain't even a a solid C fighter. He's easily the softest touch Manny has fought in his PPV career and if Floyd had fought him he would be fukking crucified for it.

Provodnikov robbed himself by not listening and following Roach's instructions in the corner.
I can't call anybody that wins a world title (not a vacant title) by beating a world class opponent that is at least top 5 in their division a C level fighter. I honestly think ya nikkas don't know how hard a feat that is to do.
C level nikkas don't do shyt like that. If they did, Curtis Stevens or Mickey Ward would have won a world title especially with all these belts floating around these days.
Algieri has the better skills, but Chino has the better wins and overall career. That's what makes them about equal to me.
I think Maidana is B- and Algieri is just a flat out B level fighter. They spots can be interchanged. It aint that serious. My thing is that, neither is leagues above the others. Neither one is B level and then the other is C. They both former champs breh.
Postal hasn't done enough to warrant any hype. Dude knocked out Aydin who already lost to Ghost and Soto Karass. You can't downplay a Ruslan win and then turn around and make a big deal out of that.

Algeiri really could benefit from training with a boxing guy. If he had any bit of power on his shots he could've seriously hurt Manny, he caught him probably as hard as he can throw with the overhand right quite a few times. Fight was garbage, and Algeiri belong on ESPN. Manny did what he had to do.
Only nikkas at 140 that I think could beat Algieri is ....
Swift, Herrera, and maybe Crawford and Broner. Chris would be a live dog in each of those fights as well. I don't think anybody, but Swift would be a strong favorite really.
