One thing is for sure is that supes needs zod level villains in his movie to be entertaining. I dont want to see him flying crash victims to the ER and stopping falling cranes. Since clark is dead the sequel might be doomed cause thats about 40 minutes of regular footage that wont break the budget.

He might just get the bulk of the JL movies minutes since he is the leader and would only go into action on planet level threats. Makes no sense for him to pop up in anybody else's slick unless its for a chat cause he would wash most of their foes

bro they're f'n crazy. like it shouldn't even be a debate. snyder's superman is the least effective superman ever depicted. he doesn't do jack shyt. all he does is lose.

we get to experience batman's heroics firsthand. we follow him during the metropolis disaster in the beginning, we get to see him kick ass in the batmobile, there's the warehouse fight... oh, not to mention we see him KICK SUPERMAN'S ASS AND UTTERLY EMBARRASS HIM. lmao fukkin swinging him around like a bytch and busting his head with a god damn sink. AND he gets to save superman's own mom!

wonder woman isn't in the movie long enough for a cup of coffee and even she gets her moment. granted it was ruined in the trailers but still... she gets her moment. not to mention she puts up the best fight against doomsday hands down. fukkin chops his hand off and puts in all kinda work.

but what does superman do in this movie. he cries, he mopes, he lets people talk down to him, he's conflicted about doing good things for people, he's always puzzled, always confused... he's got the zoolander blue steel expression going the entire movie.

Plus you gotta keep in mind that dude is ALWAYS holding back. Especially against Batman since he didn't want to kill him or cause more damage to the city.

exactly.....a scene from bvs that was done great, that shows he is conscious of that very thing: when he walks in the courtroom for the trial and they show him concentrate/slow down to open the swinging door like a reg human...it shows that even lil trivial shyt like that, he thinks about/takes into account...the people in that room/watching at home were scared as shyt already, if he wouldve just broke the door/threw it, wouldve scared the shyt outta them more, been counterproductive....

it was lil shyt like that, that zack got right in mos & bvs....that's why i want him back for mos 2 and jl....he actually pays attention to the lil details and knows how to do action like a muthafukka....just dont let him write the shyt, and it's good money....

I liked Man of Steel and loved Dawn of Justice but I think they should get a new director for Man of Steel 2. Snyder is divisive as a director. I didn't really follow Superman much as far as DC characters, it was always Batman, The Flash, and to a small extent Green Lantern for me. The only villains I know Supes has is Luthor, Doomsday, Brainiac, Darkseid, Parasite, Toyman, Zod, Bizarro and Metallo. Who else does he have?

Because you have proven REPEATEDLY you dont know shyt about the charactor. Youve seen only surface level saturday morning cartoon superman, and an elseworlds tale. You dont know diddly about superman. Its self evident. You dont understand why he would seem morose while saving lives, why he would sacrifice his live and why he wouldnt smile at a challenge like THE AMAZON WARRIOR WONDER WOMAN...you want 1960s childish smiley superman which is what those same movies and Superman TAS is based on...that is the most easily absorbable, basic, CHILDISH portrayal of superman.

THAT superman...has been dead in comics for like 20 years. Which you wouldnt know because you havent read a comic book in 20 years. Superman has DEPTH and LEVELS and PAIN and HEROISM that you know nothing about. He doesn't fight for truth justice and the american way...he saves lives because HE CAN.
