It wasn't bad. It just wasn't great. Madame Web isn't an interesting enough character with powers that are great for live action, but they did what they could. I stayed awake for the entire thing. They really tried their hardest to make the girls look like teenagers, but did it in a way that it they can do a sequel whenever.

No, it is bizarre. shyts and giggles aside, a Hollywood lead actress going on a blasé press tour trying her hardest to say everything else besides "Don't go see this movie" is not the norm, especially in an industry where actors still at least pretend to care about projects they know aren't quality works. This is still a profession. It'd be one thing if this was someone with the acting chops like an Emma Stone, but...

What has this nepo-baby done of significance lately to act like she's above this flick? ...'Cha Cha Real Smooth'? Nah, her starring in this movie is perfectly in-line with the rest of her career so far.

what you saw in the trailer is what you get in the movie. straight violation. 4 spider women and the you get nothing. madam web only gets introduced at the end
