I wonder if the monsters are ancestors. Maybe they weren’t trying to kill them in episodes 1/2 but trying to warn them? Always thought thought Uncle George surviving simply cuz he held a flashlight made no sense. He literally picks that flashlight out of the hand of a cop which had his arm ripped off.

Tic went to the future for all those bytching about them not showing where he went last episode.

there’s still so much I don’t understand/missed. Gonna enjoy re-watching this season.

Think this was my favorite episode outside of the pilot and Tic's backstory. So now we know that when this show is focused on one specific place and time (pilot, Tic's backstory, Emmett episode) it is well done....

It's also well done when it's slower paced, focused and gives the story and actors/actresses time to breathe.

The creators are good at horror/suspense...

I would say the creators are not very good at sci-fi. When they veer too much into that it just doesn't work as well.

We were giving this show a chance because it was supposed to be some epic black sifi shyt and its a jumbled mess

I haven’t watched this episode yet to see if it possibly redeemed itself but I also have no desire to do so

I wouldn't be surprised if Christina set all of this shyt up. What was the purpose of the item that she gave Ruby to place in the officer's drawer?

Is that all we're going to get from Ji Ah? Tic said a woman with a robotic arm pushed him back into the portal; is she the same woman who met Hippolyta on the ship?
