This is why some shows/movies are just better off for being able to be released now with the amount of technology available

Great episode with tons of points made but with such a HUGE payoff at the end. Clearly you as a viewer figured the spelled worked and something was going to happen but I was not expecting that. I have HBO Max so it’s broadcasted with a better picture quality than regular HBO is. Plus the demon dog being black instead of white like the first episode was nuts

When I saw the

Black Vampire multi-eyed Monster pop out of the ground, I thought that it may be one of Tic’s ancestors that got bitten and turned into one back in the day be summoned; because it was black monster instead of a white monster when we first saw them in the third episode. If I recall correctly, it look like the white people had control of them monsters in episode four when the crew was staying in the Ardham house, so maybe they, the Brathwaites, summoned those monsters as protection.

That was a cool part of episode 7. But like so many others said, ‘ this show is all over the place ’ but it is still entertaining. At this point, I really don’t care for the storyline, I’m just enjoying the ride.

I think Christina symbolizes modern white feminism. Most of her conversation with the other women is about beating men at their own game, and she's willing to use men (Tic & William) as tools to achieve that goal.

I liked the episode. Slight gripe was the makeup on the duppy girls was
The monster at the end looked cool doe
But the difference in quality and tone from episode to episode is jarring.
I agree with some that say it might be better to binge watch the show once the season has ended
rather than waiting on it every week

Nah not happening. Funny that Hippolyta's actress can show her titties, even with a scar. Meanwhile, lightskinned prissy Jurnee won't show them titties. I think she's a good actress too. Seems like she's not dedicated to the craft tho.

I'm never calling for all-at-once release again. As much as I love catching a series down the line that I missed, it feels like too much hw to have all those hrs in front of me anymore. I've gotten backed up on so many shows waiting on it to all release between this and The Boys I've been enjoying the semi-old school nature of having everybody at the water cooler every wk
