His ancestor saving him was beautiful.

But, it was also sad. She was clearly a child - who was pregnant. And we now know who she was pregnant by.

this..if i hadnt watch the first ep of this earlier i would have prolly said to hell with this show lol...this ep gave me penny dreadful vibes which was not cool..i came for racism and horror

the problem for me was that i did see the first episode. its like they were stringing on the plot and lore from the first episode but slapped a new plot on top of it.

there's a way to tell a story with random shyt happening and have it flow. that episode was just not written well. i couldnt even feel the emotional scenes because they were so random with no investment.


Also, its like the characters keep switching between being completely freaked out to unrealistically comfortable in this world with these new discoveries and cacs.
