I’m not mad at this episode. Still weird af and confusing but not so much.

I would have to muster up the strength to rewatch this entire season again to understand half this shyt... im lowkey only watching certain parts and on the internet for the others.

The whitegirl reenactment of Emmit Tills murder to understand what he went through was a surprising lil twist.. I actually paid attention then

oh, and one of the writers being anti-ADOS explains a lot...

Sounds like a counterproductive way to watch a show. What's the point?

I don't understand why they would reenact how Emmitt Till got murdered....what were they trying to convey? Why the fukk would I want to watch an invulnerable white woman go through that? shyt legit pissed me off
Misha Green likes to educate the general masses about ADOS history (she did the same thing on Underground).
After the episode, I saw several people on social media saying that they didn't know Mr. Till's story, or the amount of torture that he endured before his murder. Fun fact, I heard a Remy Ma interview on Shade45 years ago when she said that she didn't know who Emmitt Till was until she heard Kanye's "Through The Wire".
I think the whole purpose of showing Christina (a white woman-Amerikkka's most cherished person) taking a small piece of the beating that Mr. Till was given was to educate the uninformed audience about him and the brutality of his murder.
I get why some people would be upset by the scene, but I don't think it was that bad, personally. In fact, I think Weezy's line about Emmitt Till was way more disrespectful than what we saw Sunday night.

You're missing out on A LOT, breh. This isn't one of those shows you just have playing in the background while you wash dishes. You have to watch and follow along.
This is one of those shows like The Wire or Game of Thrones where there are a lot of little things that matter later, and there are a lot of Easter eggs related to ADOS history on the show, too.

I hear you, but to me it loses the impact that Emmitt's murder had by showing a white woman w supernatural powers go through the same thing versus a young boy. You knew she was coming back.

My parents were alive when Emmitt Till was murdered, so I knew all about it, and read about it in some of my histort classes. While I can't condemn Remy for not knowing, I don't fukk w Lil Wayne to this day over that shyt.
